MS Dhoni viral video: The opening match of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 will witness the high-octane clash between MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Hardik Pandya-led Gujarat Titans (GT) at world's largest cricket stadium in Ahmedabad on March 31. The 2023 season of IPL will be played in its original home and away format for the first time after 2019, which means Chennai Super Kings (CSK) will play at their home venue after a long gap of three years. Also, speculations are rife that IPL 2023 could be MS Dhoni's last as a player.
Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) posted a video via their official Instagram handle in which the four-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winning skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni can be seen 'bowling to himself'. The video captioned as 'Multiverse of Mahi' has gone viral on Instagram.
MS Dhoni, who announced retirement from international cricket in 2020, will captain Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2023. Last year in IPL 2022, Dhoni had stepped down from CSK captaincy, with all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja replacing him for the role. However, Jadeja was removed from CSK's captaincy midway after they lost back-to-back games through the season. There were rumors of a possible rift between Jadeja and Dhoni but a recent video posted by CSK's official Twitter handle shows that everything is under control.
