RCB lost the IPL 2024 Eliminator against Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 4 wickets. Post the match, Virat Kohli, the man who has played every season of the tournament with the same franchise, appeared disappointed. Virat Kohli Likely To Finish IPL 2024 As Leading Run-Getter
As far as Kohli is concerned, the right-handed batter is likely to finish as IPL 2024's leading run-scorer even though RCB will not be playing any further part in the competition.
The right-handed batter finished with 741 runs from 15 innings, 147 more than Riyan Parag, the Rajasthan Royals (RR) star whose team is still alive in the competition. Sunrisers Hyderabad's (SRH) Travis Head has 533 which means unless something dramatic happens, Kohli will win the Orange Cap in the season.

Kohli's next cricketing assignment will be India's T20 World Cup 2024 campaign. India are set to begin their campaign on June 5 before their marquee clash against Pakistan in New York on June 9 at the Nassau International Cricket Stadium.
