CSK Vs GT: Former Chennai Super Kings captain and legend of the sport, Mahendra Singh Dhoni produced a moment of magic on the field as 'Thala' took a world class catch to dismiss Vijay Shankar. The moment occured during the 8th over of the second innings when Daryl Mithell came on to bowl his first over, as Gujarat Titans were chasing a mammoth target of 207 after CSK batters had put on a show during the first innings.
The catch was so spectacular that 'Thala' dived 2.2m to his right in a stretched motion and grabbed the catch cleanly with both hands and it has now become a highlight reel all over the social media.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni was injured for majority of the last season and played out the entire season in pain, but has made immensely impressive recovery and is medically cleared and has 100% match fitness this season.
The legend has however, havent batted this season at all, and given the form of the CSK batters up front, the five-time IPL winner would be pleased by the fact that he hasn't faced a ball in the Indian Premier League 2024 so far.
