IPL 2022 mega auction uncapped players: A mix of experienced and young cricketers are eagerly waiting for the auction paddle to rise in Bengaluru, which will give them a chance to play in the biggest T20 league of the world - Indian Premier League.  Today and tomorrow i.e. on February 12 and 13, 10 franchises will clash with each other to fill their remaining slots.

Each team can have a maximum of 25 and a minimum of 18 players. Over the years, not only international stars, but many domestic cricket stars have also attracted good bids in the IPL auctions.

IPL scouts keep a keen eye on Indian domestic tournaments like Vijay Hazare and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and many uncapped players, who have done well in these events, will be on the radar of all the franchises.

The recently concluded Under-19 World Cup has brought some interesting names in front of the franchises and fans. Here are some uncapped players, who have been impressive in the last few seasons of IPL as well as domestic cricket.

1. Shahrukh Khan

Tamil Nadu's Shah Rukh Khan performed brilliantly for his team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy and Vijay Hazare Trophy.  He is known for his big hitting as well as his match-finishing ability. IPL teams need firepower in the lower order and that's why Shahrukh might fetch good money in the auction.

2. Avesh Khan

Avesh Khan played for Delhi Capitals last season and did an amazing job for the team. However, the fast bowler was released by the franchise and is set to go under the hammer during the auction. He was also selected in Team India for the last few series. Known for his speed, accuracy and yorkers, Avesh Khan will be an absolute asset to any team in the IPL.

3. Rahul Tripathi

Aggressive batter Rahul Tripathi is also an experienced IPL campaigner. He has batted at various positions for KKR in the last few seasons. Apart from his batting, Tripathi is also a good fielder and is sure to invite a bidding war between several IPL franchises in the mega auction.

4. Yash Dhull

The India Under-19 captain led the team in the title-winning campaign at the World Cup, scoring crucial runs after recovering from Covid-19. Delhi players with solid batting techniques also want to play for India and before that Dhull could become one of the most sought after players of the IPL auction.

5. Raj Bawa

Raj Bawa, who performed brilliantly with both bat and ball in India's title-winning campaign in the Under-19 World Cup, is an all-rounder and probably the best fit for the IPL. Bawa scored a half-century against England in the Under-19 World Cup final and the franchises, who need a young all-rounder, will surely bid for him in the auction and the youngster could get a hefty deal.
