New Delhi: Chennai Super Kings (CSK) bought a total of 21 players in the Indian Premier League (IPL) mega auction for the 15th season of the cash-rich T20 League. Chennai (CSK) paid a huge amount to retain Deepak Chahar. Apart from this, Chennai also managed to acquire Ambati Rayudu, Dwayne Bravo and Robin Uthappa in the 'yellow army' again.


Among the new players, Chennai Super Kings bought all-rounder Shivam Dubey for Rs 4 crore, New Zealand's Devon Conway for one crore and South African all-rounder Dwaine Pretorius for 50 lakh rupees.


The defending champions also included New Zealand's Mitchell Santner and Adam Milne in their team. CSK also bought Rajvardhan Hungergekar, who performed amazingly in the 2022 Under-19 World Cup, for Rs 1.50 crore.


Ahead of the mega auction, Chennai Super Kings had retained captain MS Dhoni, all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and spin all-rounder Moeen Ali and opener Rituraj Gaikwad. Now, CSK has a total team of 21 players after the end of IPL 2022 mega auction.
