MS Dhoni in IPL 2023: Four-time IPL winning captain, the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend, Mahendra Singh Dhoni has started preparing for upcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023. A video went viral on social media in which the two-time World Cup winning India captain can be seen batting at the nets. Last season, the veteran wicket-keeper scored 232 runs in all 14 matches.

While practicing, Dhoni was wearing yellow colored pads of Chennai Super Kings (CSK). The 41-year-old right-handed wicketkeeper-batter has played for Chennai Super Kings in 13 seasons and will be seen leading CSK in IPL 2023, most likely for the last time in his career. Notably, this year, the franchise will play an IPL season at their home ground, the M. A. Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, after three long years.






IPL 2023 will be played from 1st April 2023 to 4th June 2023 (tentatively). A total of 74 games will be played in this year's edition of cash-rich tournament. IPL 2023 will kick-off with high-octane clash between Gujarat Titans and Rajasthan Royals on April 1 at Mumbai’s Wankhede Stadium.

MS Dhoni has so far scored 4,978 runs in his career's 234 Indian Premier League (IPL) matches. This year, Dhoni has a chance to become the seventh batsman to score 5,000 runs in the tournament.
