New Delhi: Ex-Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is currently living a nightmare. He has been out of form for some time now which has become a major concern for fans and the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) ahead of the T20 World Cup 2022, set to take place later this year in the month of October.
A top BCCI official exclusively told InsideSport.IN," He is a great servant of Indian cricket. But his form from some time now is a huge concern now for the national selectors and BCCI."

"See we don't intervene in the selection matters. Selectors have to take a call on Virat and others. We can't give our judgement to them. Obviously, they are concerned about what is happening to him," he further added.
The last time Virat scored an international ton was on 23rd November 2019 when he notched up against Bangladesh in the Day-Night Test at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata. Since that match, Virat has played over 100 matches but he is yet to score an international ton. Virat had scored 973 runs in IPL 2016. Since then, he has been able to score more than 500 runs only once in a season of IPL.
Virat's performance so far in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 has been disappointing. In nine matches, Kohli has scored 128 runs at an average of 16. with the highest score of 48 and a strike rate of 119.62. RCB is yet to play five matches. Fans and the franchise are expecting the legend to play big innings in RCB's remaining matches.
