New Delhi: Kane Williamson's hard-fought fifty helped Sunrisers Hyderabad attain a eight-wicket win over Gujarat Titans at Mumbai's DY Patil Stadium on Monday. Williamson's fine 57 not only sealed a second successive win for Hyderabad but also broke Gujarat's three-match winning streak.

Earlier, Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bowl first. Hardik Pandya and Abhinav Manohar starred with the bat for Gujarat Titans to help them post a respectable 162/7 in their allotted 20 overs.

After Gujarat was left reeling after losing early wickets, Pandya arrived at the crease to stitch a solid stand with Matthew Wade to take their team's total beyond 50 runs.

Umar Malik broke their partnership by taking out Wade for just 19 runs as Gujarat were once again pushed on backfoot with the scoreboard reading 64/3 after 7.6 overs.

Pandya then took things under control by smashing Hyderabad bowlers all over the park to build a much-needed 40-run partnership with David Miller to take their team's total beyond 100.

Captain Pandya scored his fifty off 42 balls. His hard-fought knock helped Gujarat post 162/7 in the first innings.
