New Delhi: Former team India and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper Virat Kohli has been under the scanner for quite some time now due to his poor batting form. Many former cricketers and cricket pundits have given different opinions regarding Virat's struggle with his form. Meanwhile, former England cricketer Michael Vaughan has come up with a very unique piece of advice for the RCB legend. Vaughan wants Virat to think like he was 10 years ago when he wasn't married and didn't have any kids. The veteran believes this is how 33-year-old Virat will return to form.

"I hope Faf du Plessis has spoken to him and told him - ‘Go back 10 years, when you didn’t have this profile. You’re not married and don’t have a kid. You’re going out there to whack the ball and have some fun. Forget your age, forget what you have done’," said Vaughan on Cricbuzz.

Vaughan believes if Virat crosses the 35-run mark, he can register some big scores.

"If he gets to 35, I reckon he can go big. It’s just those initial 0-10 that he’s been struggling with. If he can get away and show a little bit of that youthfulness, he’s going to be dangerous," he added.

Virat Kohli is undoubtedly going through the worst phase of his cricketing career. The star batter hasn't scored a century in almost three years.

Talking about Virat's form in the ongoing IPL 2022, he was dismissed thrice for a golden duck, while in the course of 216 runs, he could only add more than 50 runs only once. Virat averages just 19.63 in 12 IPL matches.
