Steve Smith, Suresh Raina, Shakib Al Hasan and David Miller Unsold: The auction of the 15th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is underway. Where on one side money rained on players like Shreyas Iyer, Harshal Patel, Trent Boult, Shimron Hetmyer and Jason Holder. On the other hand, veterans like Steve Smith and Suresh Raina did not find any buyer.


Players who remained unsold in the second round: Suresh Raina, popularly known as Mr IPL, Australian cricketer Steve Smith, Bangladesh's star all-rounder Shakib Al Hasan and South Africa's David Miller did not find any buyers. However, they still have one more chance.


Players who stole the show in second round: West Indies players dominated the second round of the first day. All-rounder Jason Holder was bought by Lucknow for 8.75 crores. At the same time, explosive batsman Shimron Hetmyer was sold for Rs 8.50 crore. He was bought by Rajasthan Royals.


Apart from these two, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bought India's young fast bowler Harshal Patel for a very huge amount. RCB bought Harshal Patel for Rs 10.75 crore. In the last season, Harshal had won the Purple Cap by taking the highest number of wickets. He was part of the Bangalore team in the last season as well.


There was a good competition among all the franchises for Devdutt Padikkal in the auction. In the end, Rajasthan Royals (RR) bought him for Rs 7.75 crore.
