Two-time World Cup winner MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings, regarded as one of the most stylish and successful teams in the history of Indian Premier League, will kick start their journey when they take on Delhi Capitals in Mumbai on April 10. PL 14 will be held from April 9 to May 30 in six different cities of the country.


Meanwhile, Chennai Super Kings, for the first time ever, will wear a redesigned kit for IPL 2021. The camouflage on the shoulders is a tribute to Indian Armed Forces.

The franchise on Wednesday took to Twitter to share a video on social media in which MS Dhoni can be seen unveiling CSK's brand-new jersey for the 14th season of the IPL. 



The first match of IPL 2021 will be played in Chennai on April 9 between the defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore at 7.30 pm. The final match of IPL 2021 will be played on May 30 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.


Chennai Super Kings bought a total of six new players in the IPL 2021 Auction. The yellow army acquired England's Moeen Ali (Rs 7 crore), K Gautam (Rs 9.25 crore), Cheteshwar Pujara (Rs 50 lakh), M Hari Shankar Reddy (Rs 20 lakh), K Bhagat Verma (Rs 20 lakh) and C Hari Nishant (20 Lakh rupees) at the auction.


Also, they got Robin Uthappa as he was traded by Rajasthan Royals to their team before the auction.
