The sixth match of IPL 2021 will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers Bangalore from 07:30 pm today at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Virat Kohli's RCB started their campaign with a win, while Sunrisers Hyderabad had to face a defeat in its first match in IPL 14.

In last year's IPL, the opening batting pair of David Warner and Johnny Bairstow had many successful partnerships for Hyderabad but this year Wriddhiman Saha has been promoted up the order as an opener, after having played some good innings in the previous season.

Johnny Bairstow came out at number four in SRH's last match. However, in today's match, the pair of Bairstow and Warner can most likely open the innings fro Hyderabad.

Royal Challengers Bangalore might see the return Devdutt Padikkal as opener. The star player was given rest in the previous match as he was still recovering from Coronavirus.

In Padikkal's absence, captain Virat Kohli and Washington Sundar opened for RCB, but did not succeed. Padikkal had done well in the Vijay Hazare Trophy recently and his return will give a major boost to Bangalore's batting line-up.

Bangalore's spin department is weak compared to Hyderabad. RCB's star spinner Yuzvendra Chahal is currently in worst form and his team will need him to bounce back in today's game. Chahal could not take a single wicket in his last match against Mumbai and moreover gave away 41 runs.

RCB vs SRH, Pitch report: The pitch of Chennai's MA Chidambaram Stadium, which is usually favorable for spinners, has been very different this year. This year the pitch is getting very slow in the second innings. The same was seen in the matches against Kolkata and Mumbai. Despite the dew factor, the team that wins the toss can decide to bat first.

RCB vs SRH, Match prediction: RCB has an upper hand in this match. However, the spin department of RCB is weak compared to Hyderabad, but still it can register a win in this match. However, the match is expected to be an exciting one.
