Punjab Kings failed to post a big total in their IPL 2021 match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Monday. Punjab scored just 123 for 9 wickets, batting first.  PBKS' young star spinner Ravi Bishnoi completed a great diving catch of Kolkata's left-handed batsman Sunil Narine to pull his team back into the match. The stunning catch by the young leggie is being called the 'best catch of IPL 2021' so far, by fans and commentator Harsha Bhogle.

On the final ball of the third over of the match, Sunil Narine played a big shot off the left-arm pacer Arshadeep Singh. Fielding at the deep midwicket, Ravi Bishnoi made a long run and dived at full stretch to complete the catch. Due to this, KKR lost their third wicket for just 17 runs.

Kolkata Knight Riders captain Eoin Morgan won the toss and decided to bowl first.  Punjab scored 123 runs after losing 9 wickets in their allotted 20 overs.  Mayank Agarwal scored the highest 31 runs for Punjab. Chris Jordan scored 30 runs off 18 balls with the help of a four and 3 sixes. Captain KL Rahul scored 19 runs off 20 balls with the help of 2 fours and 1 six, while Nicholas Pooran scored 19 runs off 19 balls.

KKR's young paceman Prasidha Krishna was the highest wicket-taker (3 wickets) while Pat Cummins and Sunil Narine bagged 2 wickets each.  Shivam Mavi and Varun Chakraborty also took 1 wicket each.  This was Punjab's sixth match in IPL 2021. The team has so far won two matches while lost three.
