New Delhi: Three-time Indian Premier League (IPL) winner Chennai Super Kings have reached UAE to take part in the IPL 2021 Phase 2. On Thursday, a picture from CSK's practice session had also gone viral on social media. The second phase of IPL is scheduled to begin from September 19 in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In total, 31 matches, including qualifiers, will be played over the course of 27 days.
The first match of IPL 2021 Phase 2 will be played between five-time IPL winners Mumbai Indians and Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings (CSK). In IPL 14 Phase 1, Chennai's performance under legend MS Dhoni was excellent.
Ahead of the start of IPL 14 Phase 2, the Indian Premier League (IPL) has posted a video from its official Twitter account to announce the return of cash-rich tournament in grand style. The video featuring veteran MS Dhoni has been made by IPL's official broadcaster Star Sports.
Taking to Twitter, IPL posted the video and wrote: "#VIVO IPL 2021 is BACK and ready to hit your screens once again! Time to find out how this blockbuster season concludes, 'coz #AsliPictureAbhiBaakiHai! Starts Sep 19 | @StarSportsIndia @DisneyPlusHS."
MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings have so far won five out of seven matches in the IPL and was second on the points table with 10 points before IPL 14 was postponed indefinitely due to Covid-19 cases inside the IPL bio-bubble, in the first week of May 2021.

A 46-page health advisory has been introduced by the BCCI to ensure smooth functioning of the cash-rich league, which states that members of all franchises involved with Indian Premier League (IPL) will have to quarantine for six days before entering the bio-bubble.
