The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will begin on April 9. The first match of the world's most attractive T20 cricket tournament will be played between defending champions Mumbai Indians  and Royal Challengers Bangalore in Chennai tomorrow.

 

Five-time IPL winner Mumbai Indians have dominated Virat Kohli's RCB in IPL history most of the times. Mumbai have won 19 out of 29 matches played so far between RCB and Mumbai Indians. RCB, on the other hand, have managed to win just 10 matches.

 



All the matches of the 14th season of IPL will be played without spectators due to coronavirus for the second year in a row.


Fans now have the option to watch matches only on mobile and TV. This year, the IPL matches will be held in Chennai, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Delhi. No IPL team will play at their home ground.
