New Delhi: Kolkata Knight Riders are currently battling Delhi Capitals in Qualifier 2 of IPL 2021 at Sharjah. The team that wins tonight's match will book the ticket to the final and will take on 3-time IPL winners Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on October 15.


Talking about the match, Kolkata won the toss and decided to bowl first. Openers Prithvi Shaw And Shikhar Dhawan powered Delhi to a great start. However, Varun Chakravarthy departed Shaw to pull Kolkata back into the match. Post Shaw's dismissal, Stoinis and Dhawan steadied innings and were scoring runs at ease until Shivam Mavi's lethal delivery knocked Stoinis' stumps to get him clean bowled for 18.


At the time this article was filed, Delhi Capitals had reached 82/2 after 13.5 overs.

Both Avesh and Venkatesh have done amazingly well in IPL 2021 so far.  Avesh has taken 23 wickets off the last 14 matches in IPL 2021. Venkatesh, on the other hand, has taken three wickets apart from scoring 265 runs in 8 IPL games with a good batting average of 37.85 and an impressive strike rate of 123.25.
