Harshal Patel, who bagged five wickets in MI vs RCB IPL 2021 match, has become the highest wicket-taker in any one match against Mumbai Indians.

Before him, this record was held by Rohit Sharma. Rohit played for Deccan Chargers in the 2009 IPL and took 4 wickets for 6 runs against Mumbai Indians. In this match, he also bagged a hat-trick.

RCB had traded Harshal Patel from Delhi Capitals this year. The young bowler was associated with RCB from 2012 to 2017. After this, from the year 2018 to 2020, he played for Delhi Capitals.

After performing brilliantly in the first match of IPL, he not only justified the decision of the team management but also made a brilliant debut on his 'homecoming'. Patel was also adjudged as the man of the match for his heroics.

AB de Villiers also had a major contribution in RCB's victory. De Villiers literally 'snatched the match' from Mumbai Indians with his stormy innings of 48 runs off 27 balls. During his knock, the RCB legend hammered four fours and two sixes.
