New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has posted a video on Twitter from the Indian camp in which head coach Rahul Dravid, known for his super calm and composed nature, showcased his rare animated avatar. India sealed a win in the ODI series opener against West Indies on Friday. The India vs West Indies 1st ODI went down to the wire as the visitors defeated the Windies by 3 runs in the final delivery of the match.


"No shortage of action & emotions! Scenes as #TeamIndia seal a thrilling win in the first #WIvIND ODI in Trinidad," the BCCI wrote on Twitter.






When Mohammad Siraj bowled the final over, West Indies needed to score 10 runs in 3 balls for the win. The tension and worry on the faces of the players could be clearly seen in the dressing rooms of both teams.


Indian coach Rahul Dravid was seen having some serious conversation with batting coach Vikram Rathour as the final over unfolded. Ishan Kishan, sitting next to Rahul Dravid, was constantly encouraging bowler Mohammad Siraj.  The video of Rahul Dravid and Ishan Kishan's animated reaction is becoming very viral on social media.


Batting first, India scored 308 runs for the loss of 7 wickets. In reply, West Indies could only score 305 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in their allotted 50 overs.  Shikhar Dhawan played a captains' knock in this match. He scored 97 runs in 99 balls, added 119 runs for the first wicket with Shubman Gill and then shared a 94-run partnership with Shreyas Iyer for the second wicket.
