India vs Sri Lanka Highlights: Clinical bowling performance and yet another T20 batting masterclass from Suryakumar Yadav (51-ball unbeaten 112) helped team India beat Sri Lanka by 91 runs in IND-SL 3rd T20 International, seal three-match T20 series 2-1, Saturday. The pressure was too much on the Lankan Lions and rarely you see a side chasing down 220-plus score in the shortest format. Sri Lanka were off to a positive start with Mendis playing some remarkable strokes but the bowlers soon made changes to their line and length to get things under control. Spinners Axar Patel and Chahal too did a fine job on batting-friendly Rajkot pitch. Overall, Suryakumar's ton batted Sri Lanka out of the series decider and the Indian bowlers were clinical with their plans in 2nd innings.

Earlier, India won the toss and decided to bat first. An incredible ton from Suryakumar guided the hosts to post a mammoth 228-run total in the series-decider against Sri Lanka. After reaching his half-century off just 26 balls, Surya scored his century in the next 19 deliveries. The star batter was the top scorer for India in the series decider. Apart from Yadav, Shubman Gill (46) and Rahul Tripathi (16-ball 35-run knock) also made important contributions.

India were off to a slow start in the match. Ishan Kishan was dismissed in the very first over after scoring just 1 run. Rahul Tripathi steadied India's innings with Shubman Gill by sharing a 49-run partnership off 31 balls.

Tripathi played a flamboyant inning of 35 runs in 16 balls with the help of five fours and two sixes. India got to the 100-run mark in the 11th over. From here, Suryakumar Yadav and Gill added 111 runs for the third wicket.

In the end, Axar Patel played a quick cameo and shared an unbeaten 39-run partnership with Suryakumar to help India post a big total. Suryakumar remained unbeaten on 112 in 51 balls with the help of seven fours and nine sixes in his blazing knock and Axar Patel scored 21 runs in 9 balls. For Sri Lanka, Dilshan Madhushanka bagged two wickets.
