New Delhi: The second and final match of the two-match Test series between India and Sri Lanka is currently being played at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. On Day 2 of the Day-Night Test, India declared their second inning after scoring 303/9, setting a 447-run target for Sri Lanka. In reply, the visitors had a poor start, going into the stumps at 28/1 at the end of the day's play.

Meanwhile, during Sri Lanka's second innings, an unusual sight caught everyone's attention as the play was halted abruptly for some time when three fans entered the field just moments before Stumps on Day 2.

A photo has gone viral on social media which indicates that one of the three players had managed to take a selfie with Virat. As per reports, the fans were eventually chased away by the security but the breach has raised some serious questions on players' security.

The incident happened in the sixth over of Sri Lanka's second innings when Kusal Mendis was being given medical aid after being hit by Mohammed Shami's delivery. Taking a chance to see their favorite players closely, three fans entered the ground and started running towards the players. One of them managed to get close to Kohli who was fielding at slips.

The fan's happiness knew no bounds when Kohli agreed for the selfie.

Talking about Virat's performance in the match, he could not do anything special with the bat in the second Test. The star batter scored 23 runs in the first innings and 13 runs in the second innings. Due to Kohli's poor form, his average in Tests has dropped below 50. This is the first time since 2017 that Kohli's average has dropped below 50.
