New Delhi: The Indian contingent has reached Cape Town for the India vs South Africa 3rd Test, set to start from January 11 at Newlands Ground in Cape Town. This is the same ground where India's star fast-bowler Jasprit Bumrah played his debut Test match about 4 years ago from today.

It seems like Cape Town has brought back some golden memories for Jasprit Bumrah ahead of the Ind vs SA 3rd Test as the MI speedster shared an emotional post on Instagram.

"Cape Town, January 2018 - is where it all began for me in Test cricket. Four years on, I’ve grown as a player and a person and to return to this ground brings back special memories," Bumrah wrote in the caption of his post.

Jasprit Bumrah played his debut Test match against South Africa in Cape Town on January 5, 2018. He got only one wicket in his debut Test but since then Bumrah has attained many records in his career. The fast-bowler has played 26 Test matches so far in his career and has taken 107 wickets.

Team India's regular red-ball skipper Virat Kohli was benched for the Ind vs SA second Test in Johannesburg due to stiff back and now he seems fit and will most likely return to action in Ind vs SA 3rd Test. In Virat's absence, KL Rahul captained the national team.

Team India has played 5 Test matches in Cape Town so far and is yet to win its maiden Test match here.
