Ind vs SA: Furious Fans React To Viral Video Of Leaking Roof At Bengaluru's Chinnaswamy Stadium
A fan took to Twitter to share a video of water dripping from the roof of Chinnaswamy stadium and even tagged BCCI, Jay Shah, and Sourav Ganguly.
New Delhi: The fifth and final T20I between India and South Africa played at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru was washed out due to rain. As a result, the five-match series ended in a 2-2 draw. During the match on Sunday, only 3.3 overs could be bowled after Proteas won the toss and invited India to bat first. At the time when the match was forced to be abandoned, India had scored 28 runs for the loss of two wickets.
Meanwhile, fans who bought tickets for the high-octane clash were not just disappointed with the rain forcing the play to stop but also with the Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) and BCCI for poor maintenance of one of India's most iconic cricket stadiums, the Chinnaswamy cricket stadium in Bangalore.
Rainwater started dripping from the roof of Chinnaswamy Stadium when it started raining during Ind-SA T20I match. A fan took to Twitter to share a video of water dripping from the roof of Chinnaswamy stadium and even tagged BCCI, Jay Shah, and Sourav Ganguly. Things got much worse and disappointing when the leaking roof made it impossible for spectators to even sit in their seats.
What was even more disappointing was the state of affairs inside the stadium! The richest board in the world and these are the kind of conditions their fans need to put up with! When will @BCCI @kscaofficial1 improve fan experience befitting the stature of the sport?? pic.twitter.com/eacucPnwUp

Taking note of the video, some furious fans expressed their anger on social media as they questioned the KSCA and BCCI for such negligence.
Indian cricket must invest in a couple of stadia with a retractable roof…with the quantum of broadcast monies flowing in, it’s imperative to take the weather out of the equation. As much as you can.
