New Delhi: The Indian cricket team will kick-off their T20 World Cup campaign against Pakistan on October 24. Virat Kohli & Co. are preparing in full swing for the high-octane match. For the T20 World Cup, ex-India skipper and two-time World Cup winning skipper MS Dhoni, who is associated with the India team as a mentor, is busy preparing the Indian players for the important match against Pakistan.

Recently, Dhoni was seen giving wicket keeping tips to Ishan Kishan and Rishabh Pant and now the legend has been spotted in the avatar of a "throwdown specialist" in the nets.

BCCI took to social media to share pictures of  throwdown specialist MS Dhoni via its official Twitter handle as the veteran can be seen training the Indian batsmen in nets. Mahendra Singh Dhoni has been highly active on the field even since he joined the national squad and is keeping a sharp eye on every player's performance and form.

MS Dhoni led Chennai Super Kings to their fourth IPL title win under his captaincy. Team India's performance in both the warm-up matches played so far has been highly impressive. India had first defeated England and then thumped Australia in a one-sided game.

Dhoni's role in this T20 World Cup as a mentor is considered to be of high importance and captain Virat Kohli himself has admitted that the team will get a lot of benefit due to the veteran's presence in the dressing room and dugout. Regarding Dhoni, Virat had said just before the start of the tournament, "He has a lot of experience. He himself is eager to get into this environment. He has been our mentor from the time we started our career and he has played this role very well till our stay in the team. Those young players will benefit greatly, who have come to play in such a big tournament for the first time."
