During the press conference, Pujara said, "I am scoring 50 to 60 runs at the moment, so there is nothing to worry about. I would be scoring a century soon." He also said that Captain Ajinkya Rahane is just an innings away from scoring well and returning back to form.

What did Pujara say about the Kanpur pitch?

In the press conference, Pujara said, "I did check the pitch today. According to my experience, this pitch would work more in favor of spinners."

Pujara praises Coach Rahul Dravid

Pujara also praised Rahul Dravid immensely during this interview. He said, "I have played cricket with him for a long time. The kind of experience he has, it will immensely help all the young and senior players of the team."

After press conference, says "We are ready" on Koo:

Right after the press conference, Cheteshwar Pujara posted a video on Social Media Platform Koo, saying that Team India is fully prepared for the upcoming Test series.

In this video, Pujara says, 'We are going to play a Test series against New Zealand soon. I was really looking forward to playing Test cricket. This is going to be a very good series. As we all know that New Zealand is a strong team, playing against them will not be so easy. Most of New Zealand's cricketers have been playing IPL in India for a long time and therefore have good experience playing on Indian grounds and in Indian conditions. But, we too have been preparing for long. We have completed our training sessions in Mumbai and have practiced very hard for the upcoming series. We are all very excited and look forward to face the challenges ahead. We are completely ready. Just support us. See you all soon.'
