India vs England women's cricket: After a remarkable outing at the Commonwealth Games 2022, Harmanpreet Kaur-led India women's cricket team is aiming to bounce back strongly when they take on England women's cricket team in a three-match T20I series against England, starting on Saturday. India W vs England W T20 match is taking place as per the original schedule. The match has not been affected by the death of Queen Elizabeth II and will start as scheduled.

Meanwhile, as per a report in the Indian Express, India's women's cricket team has been asked to avoid playing music in the dressing room as England mourns the death of their longest-serving monarch. Also, the flag of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will also remain half-masted at the venue. However, there is no restriction on on-field celebrations.

India's women's cricket team won the silver medal in the Commonwealth Games, last month by defeating England in the semi-finals. They had a chance to win a maiden CWG gold medal at the event but lost the final against Australia by nine runs in a nail-biting thriller.

After the CWG final, India women's cricket team introduced new attacking batters like Kiran Prabhu Navgire and Dylan Hemlata to the team and dropped wicketkeeper Yastika Bhatia.

Kiran Prabhu Navgire will most likely make her international debut in Saturday's match against England. The Maharashtra batsman, who represented Nagaland, made headlines earlier this year by scoring an unbeaten 162 against Arunachal Pradesh in the Senior T20 Trophy. Dylan Hemlata is also expected to make her comeback after two years.

The England team is all set to make a strong comeback after a dismal performance in knockout stage of CWG 2022 at home. The hosts lost against New Zealand in the bronze medal match.
