The much anticipated and awaited five-match Test series between India and England will start from August 4. Looking at the bowling-friendly English conditions, it seems that the performance of fast-bowlers will decide the winner of the series.
India's star speedster Jasprit Bumrah, who was seen completely out of his usual bowling rhythm in the final of the World Test Championship, would be hoping for a strong comeback against England. Bumrah himself is preparing aggressively for the Ind vs Eng test series and was seen sweating it out in the nets.
Meanwhile, in the photo shared by BCCI via its official Twitter handle, Bumrah was spotted practicing bowling in a very unique way. The star fast-bowler was seen bowling in the nets wearing batting pads. Sharing the photo of Bumrah, BCCI wrote in the caption, 'He is having a really busy session in the nets.'
Bumrah has been struggling with his form for some time now. Even in IPL 2021, he did not appear to be in his best form, while he did not live up to the expectations against New Zealand in the WTC final as well. However, Bumrah's bowling record on overseas pitches has been phenomenal so far and he will aim to prove it again in the Test series against the English team.
Recently, the Indian team played a three-day practice match against County Select XI in Durham, in which KL Rahul, Ravindra Jadeja performed remarkably well with the bat. At the same time, Mohammad Siraj and Umesh Yadav impressed a lot with their bowling.
