New Delhi: The Indian team is currently touring England for a one-off Test and limited-overs series. After a defeat in the fifth Test, now the T20 series between India and England is set to start on July 7. The first match of the T20 series will start at 10:30 pm IST at The Rose Bowl, Southampton. Meanwhile, ahead of the match, the Indian team has started their preparations. The video of Team India's practice session is going viral on social media. In the video, Indian players are seen sweating it out in the nets.

Many players have been rested for the first T20. These players will be part of the Indian team from the second T20. Senior players like Virat Kohli, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravindra Jadeja, Shreyas Iyer, and Rishabh Pant have not found a place in the team for the first T20.

Rituraj Gaikwad, Sanju Samson, Rahul Tripathi, Venkatesh Iyer, and Arshdeep have got a place in Team India for the first T20.  At the same time, Rohit Sharma, who did not play the 5th Test against England after testing Covid positive, is now returning as a captain.
