Indian cricket team's star speedster Jasprit Bumrah is all set to show his brilliance with the red ball against England after a remarkable performance in the Test series against Australia.

Bumrah's bowling skills have been unmatched in Test cricket so far as even the best in the business have knelt in front of the 'yorker king'. Bumrah, who has taken 79 wickets off just 17 Tests, is yet to play his first-ever Test match on home soil, i.e India.

The lethal bowler will go on to play his first Test match 'for India in India' at the M Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai against England.

Jasprit Bumrah made his Test debut against Australia in the year 2018. Thanks to Bumrah's superb bowling spell, India managed to defeat Australia for the first time ever in Australia, in a Test series.

Bumrah is counted among the best fast bowlers of the current generation and many former legendary cricketers have also praised him for the extraordinary skill and unique style he possesses. In the Test series against England starting on February 5, Team India will again expect a strong performance from Bumrah.

The Indian team has not lost any Test series since 2012 at home. In 2012, India suffered a 2–1 defeat at the hands of England.

On the other hand, the performance of the England team has been excellent in the overseas tours in the last few years. Looking at the Chennai pitch, both the teams would likely opt to bowl first with three spin bowlers in playing XI.
