A similar heated on-field banter caught the attention of fans when India skipper Virat Kohli and England's Ben Stokes got engaged in a war of words on Day 1 of Ind vs Eng Ahmedabad Test.

The fiery verbal skirmish took place in the 13th over after a bouncer from Mohammad Siraj led to Stokes giving the Indian speedster a stare with few words.
Virat Kohli clearly wasn't happy with what he saw as he furiously approached Stokes and said something to him and his partner Jonny Bairstow.
As the situation between Stokes and Kohli seemed to get intense, on-field umpires Virender Sharma and Nitin Menon intervened to separate the two and cool down things.
However, it all did not end here as Virat again had a go at Stokes when he was returning back to the crease. Umpire Virender once again had to intervene to separate the two. After the incident, fans saw some more drama as Siraj was again seen having a heated discussion with Stokes after he edged a couple of balls that went for fours.
Meanwhile, England won the toss and decided to bat first in IND vs ENG 4th Test. India continue their dominance at Motera by thumping England's top order on Day 1. The hosts, who currently leading the four-match Test series 2–1, will aim to win Ind vs Eng fourth Test to seal the series and a spot in World Test Championship final at England's Lords Stadium.
