New Delhi: The Indian cricket team is currently touring England for the five-match test series against England. Test specialist and India's vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane has been under the scanner for quite some time now due to his poor batting form. In the last three Tests, Rahane has been able to score only 95 runs in 5 innings of India vs England Test series.
Many former cricketers and cricket pundits have also openly opined and demanded to drop Rahane from India's XI against England. The vice-captain of the Indian Test team, Ajinkya Rahane had made his international debut on this day i.e. 31 August 2011. Today he completed 10 years in international cricket. Sadly, for the last one year Rahane has failed to score runs with the bat. He has scored 539 runs in 12 matches at an average of just 26.95 in all three formats. During this he scored only one century. Even on the current England tour, he is struggling to score runs.
