New Delhi: The second match of the T20 series between India and England is being played in Birmingham.  In the match, Team India decided to bat first after losing the toss. India was off to a flying start as skipper Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant attained a good partnership for the first wicket. England bowlers Richard Gleeson and Chris Jordan took consecutive wickets to push India on the backfoot.

Meanwhile, Virat Kohli, playing his comeback in T20 format after more than five months, returned back to the pavilion after scoring just one run, courtesy of a superb catch by Dawid Malan. The ex-India captain desperately needed to score runs amid a never-ending struggle to get back his form but he failed yet again.

As Kohli lost his wicket, he made a long walk back to the dressing room.

Earlier India skipper Rohit Sharma said after losing the toss that they have decided to make four changes in playing XI from previous game.

“We would have batted first. Looks like a good pitch, it has been used before for the Blast game. We just need to adjust quickly and adapt our game. We have four changes. Kohli, Jadeja, and Bumrah are back, and we have one more change," said Rohit.

“These guys are one of the best teams in the world, so we want to challenge ourselves. We want to back our game in Southampton. We want to be fearless, but we need to play according to the situation. We know there will be some failures along the way," he added.
