Seeing this, Virat Kohli was quick to point to the logo on the Indian jersey, indicating that he is representing India and not the IPL franchise. The hint by Kohli was meant to urge fans to cheer for the national team instead. The video of the incident has gone viral on the internet.
Following Virat Kohli's gesture, fans stopped RCB chants and started cheering for the cricketer. Star seamer Harshal Patel was standing alongside Virat when the entire episode unfolded. Similar to Kohli, Patel too pointed towards the logo on his jersey.
Talking about Ind vs Aus 2nd T20I, a captain's knock from Rohit Sharma (unbeaten 46 off 20 balls) helped team India beat Australia by six wickets in the rain-hit second T20I to level the three-match series 1-1. Asked to bat first after India won the toss, Australia scored 90/5 batting first with the help of Matthew Wade's (43 runs off 20 balls) fiery innings.
