Sanju Samson viral video: Team India's star wicket-keeper batsman Sanju Samson was not picked in BCCI's 15-member Indian squad for the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022, set to be held in Australia. The star wicketkeeper batter has been a part of the T20 format for India for some time now, but due to the presence of slightly better and senior players in the team, he could not find a place in the World Cup squad. Unfortunately, Samson has also not been included in the list of India's 4 reserve players for the marquee event.

After BCCI announced India's T20 World Cup team, fans started various trends on social media platforms to slam selectors and team management for ignoring Sanju Samson. Netizens suggested that Samson should be included by dropping KL Rahul or Rishabh Pant. Their recent form hasn't been very good as they have been seen struggling to score runs. On the other hand, Sanju has done well in whatever opportunities he has been given.

After the T20 WC selection snub, Samson has broken his silence for the first time. In a video viral on social media, he slammed trolls for starting the campaign on social media to oust KL Rahul and Rishabh Pant.

"These days, in media and on social media, there are talks that who will Sanju replace in the Indian playing XI. Will you replace Rishabh Pant or KL Rahul. My thinking is very clear that both KL and Pant play for my own team. If I compete with my own teammates, then I'm letting my country down," said Samson on World Cricket channel.

"But I feel very fortunate that I made a comeback after 5 years. Indian team was No 1 five years ago and even now. To become a part of the best 15 of Indian cricket team is a big thing. But at the same time, you also have to think about yourself as well and it is important to be in the right frame of mind and think positively," said Sanju.
