New Delhi: Indian skipper Virat Kohli is an active social media user and is known for expressing his views on the platform effectively.
The 28-year-old, on Saturday, posted a video on his Instagram account, which is doing rounds on the internet. In the video, a girl of 3-4 years is being harassed by a woman while trying to teach her some basic mathematical counting. The heartbreaking video shows the child crying in pain.
Kolhi wrote, “The fact that the pain and anger of the child is ignored and one’s own ego to make the child learn is so massive that compassion has totally gone out of the window. This is shocking and saddening to another dimension. A child can never learn if intimidated. This is hurtful.”
Virat Kohli is currently in Sri Lanka, where Indian team is scheduled to play the Upul Tharanga led side after registering historic 3-0 win.
India will play their first ODI on August 20.
