New Delhi: Former Cricketer and Bharatiya Janata Party MP Gautam Gambhir shared a funny video on his Twitter page showing doctors in Pakistan dancing in a ward for COVID-19. The video shows rows of patients lying on hospital beds and doctors in full PPE gear testing them. They break into a dance suddenly to the popular song ‘Chitta Chola’.

Gambhir wrote,’ Coronavirus should listen to this’ and used the hashtag #nayapakistan.

Amid the fear and panic due to the coronavirus pandemic, it seems doctors in Pakistan are keeping their spirits high with hilarious antics. In an earlier video that had gone viral in social media, a doctor in Pakistan confidently gave his special remedies to prevent getting infected by the coronavirus. He had suggested consuming Kalaunji or Nigella seeds 4-6 times daily and displayed his special ‘commando moves’ to tackle the virus.


Videos of doctors dancing to destress around the world have become viral in social media. Medical personnel is under a lot of stress due to the coronavirus pandemic. In countries with a high number of cases, doctors are working round the clock without much sleep or adequate rest. Many doctors are finding ways to alleviate their stress like doctors in a hospital in the US choreographed a short dance routine that became popular in social media. There was also a video showing a Pakistani doctor, Dr. Saddam Hussain from DHQ Muzaffargarh breaking into spontaneous dance in a COVID-19 ward.  According to the Centre for Systems Science and Engineering (CSSE) at Johns Hopkins University, Pakistan has over 5000 confirmed cases of coronavirus and over 91 deaths.
