Lamine Yamal, who made his debut for senior team of FC Barcelona in April 2023, has now become the youngest player to register 10+ goals and assists in a single season. The La Masia product has reached the feat at 16 years and 213 days. Not only this, the teenager has also become the youngest player to ever score a brace in La Liga's history.






Ever since his debut, the youngster has been lauded as the next big thing in the coming years but such is his maturity and rapid pace of growth that within the space of 10 months, the Blaugrana teenager has outclassed every other attacker in the main squad as he has registered the most successful dribbles this season for FC Barcelona. 


Not only he has been highly successful with his impeccable pace and dribbling, he is also finding his shooting rhythm as the youngster is finally getting amongst the goals by grabbing a brace against Granada on Monday. The left-footed right winger has now taken his tally to 3 goals and 2 assists in La Liga so far this season, and has benched some big names in recent games as he is now becoming an undisputed starter at such a tender age, in the starting XI of the legendary club FC Barcelona.

FC Barcelona has been quite on-and-off this season as they have breathed fire and cold oftentimes this season and such inconsistencies have led them to be far behind league leaders Real Madrid in their title defence this season and have dealt yet another blow as they ended up drawing 3-3 to Granada at home.


The Blaugrana took the lead in the 14th minute via a Lamine Yamal goal, but Granada came from a goal down to lead 2-1 at the 60th minute mark, and two goals within the space of 6 minutes saw Barcelona equalise and again  fall behind as Granada were looking to cause a shocking upset.


However, Lamine Yamal saved the day for the Culers as his bullet shot from outside the box equalised and made it 3-3 as Barcelona and Granada shared the spoils at the full time whistle.
