However, the eagerness of the Hong Kong fans to witness the G.O.A.T. play ended up in disappointment as Messi remained benched amidst a looming fear that the player might get injured as he is suffering from a knock. This led to outbreak of emotions from the fans as they showed their anguish by slandering Lionel Messi and David Beckham with constant boos as they were leaving the pitch after the end of the match. The boos echoed in the stadium and some derogatory signals and signs were at display too.

Inter Miami's Pre-Season Tour So Far

Inter Miami have had a torublesome run as they started their pre-season with a dull and a tame goalless affair against El Salvador. They then went on to face FC Dallas, that ended in a 1-0 defeat. Later, they went on to face Al Hilal, the club that was fighting against Inter Miami for the signature of Lionel Messi as they offered the Argentinian a huge 1.5 billion euros per year deal, which he rejected. Inter Miami lost the fixture 4-3 and then went on to lose to Al Nassr 6-0, before finally winning against Hong Kong XI 4-1.
