Croatia Team Profile FIFA Qatar World Cup: The FIFA World Cup 2022 is slated to start on November 20th and will continue till December 18th 2022 in Qatar.  The mega event will see 32 teams participating in and playing for the ultimate prize in football. Croatia’s squad is filled with players who compete in the top five European leagues and the team did pretty well to reach the final of the FIFA 2018 World Cup. Zlatko Dalic’s side edged past Denmark, Russia, and England, before losing out to France in the Russia World Cup Final.

Croatia must be riding high on confidence after an emphatic World Cup qualifying campaign and an equally outstanding Nations League.

Croatia was placed in Group H for the World Cup Qualifiers along with Russia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Cyprus, and Malta and they topped the group. Competing with Denmark, France, and Austria in a tough group in Nations League, they emerged at the top with seven wins out of 10 matches. They lost one match and two matches ended in a draw.

Croatia looks favourite alongside Belgium to storm past Group F. However, both Morocco and Canada games could be a tough challenge, and Modric’s side needs to bring their A-game from the start of the tournament to gain momentum.
