Brazil footballer Dani Alves has reportedly been arrested by Spanish Police after he was accused of sexual abuse. As per a report carried by local newspaper La Vanguardia, Alves was arrested after interrogation in Barcelona with regards to a sexual abuse complaint filed against him. A woman has alleged that Alves abused her at a night club in Barcelona last year.
Even though Alves hasn't admitted to the charges, he has been detained by the law enforcing officials.
Proceedings for “for an alleged crime of sexual assault as a result of the complaint filed by a woman for events that allegedly occurred in a nightclub in Barcelona last month" have started said Catalonia’s Supreme Court as quoted in a report by The Mirror.
