FC Barcelona Vs Mallorca: Lamine Yamal continues to grow in prominence as the 'Boy Wonder' has scored yet another decisive goal for FC Barcelona in a La Liga fixture this season. His goal in the 73rd minute proved to be enough for the Blaugrana, as they won the fixture 1-0 against a strong Mallorca side. Barcelona created many chances but it was a certain 16-year old Lamine Yamal that provided with the finesse to grab all 3 points, as Barcelona now move in at second in the La Liga 2023/24 season.

Barcelona didnt't start on a bright note as even though they were awarded a penalty inside the first 25 minutes of the game, midfielder Ilkay Gundogan failed to convert the spot kick and the scoreline remained nil-nil. However, Mallorca were teed off via a Lamine Yamal wonder goal, assisted by Robert Lewandowski, as the resilience of visitors gave up when their defence got breached.

Lamine Yamal: The 16-Yr Old Boy Wonder

The La Masia product is growing game after game, as his finishing, work rate, dribbling, and overall game-reading is developing at a rapid pace. When Ansu Fati, Pedri and Pablo Gavi came to the fold, they seemed to be the next big thing for Blaugrana, but with Ansu Fati out of the picture and constant injuries to the latter, it was a stage well-set for Lamine Yamal and he didn't disappoint. Such is his finishing and dribbling and cutting inside with left foot, fans have already started to make resemblance of the player with the 'La Pulga' Lionel Messi.
