The winger beats the competition from the likes of Arda Guler of Real Madrid and Kobbie Mainoo of Manchester United to win the award. The 17-year-old has made a habit of breaking all the 'Youngest' records, as he broke a few of them back at UEFA Euro 2024, where he triumphed with Spain.

Upon winning the award, he thanked his mother during his award-winning speech, and said the following:
