Ballon d'Or Shortist 2024: The time has arrived for the football fans to crown their new king for the year 2024, as football fans are on the verge of seeing a dawn of new era in football. This year marks for the very first time since 2023, that neither Lionel Messi, nor Cristiano Ronaldo are featuring in the Top 30 list, and as Lionel Messi was the reigning winner, a new owner of the crown awaits the footballing world.

The Top 30 list is heavily represented by Premier League, with 10 players featuring in the list. Rodri of Manchester City, and Vinicius Jr of Real Madrid are the hot contenders for the award.
In Women's Ballon d'Or, Aitana Bonmati looks clear favourite of retaining her crown, and Kopa Trophy also seems to have a clear favourite in the form of Lamine Yamal. Therefore, FC Barcelona, by the looks of it, seems to be having atleast two winners at the cermony this year.
