Lisandro Martinez's Ever Consistent Performances At Manchester United

Lisandro Martinez has arguably been Manchester United best defender ever since his arrival at the club from Eredevisie club Ajax Amsterdam in 2022. The defender had made 45 appearances for Manchester United last season in all competitions and had made 28 clearances in Premier League alone. The defender has been a hot commodity ever since his memorable run at the FIFA World Cup 2022, where he acted as a super sub for the iconic pair of Romero and Otamendi, and the defender can also play as a defensive midfielder if needed.

Such has been his consistency that even opposition coaches have lauded the the 26-year old Argentinian, with the latest of them being former Manchester United and Everton manager, David Moyes, who is currently deploying his services at West Ham United, where he is currently having a highly successful tenure as last season, he led the London club to its first ever European Trophy, when West Ham defeated Fiorentina in the UEFA Conference League final.

"He brings much greater calmness on the ball in their build-up play. I am not an expert on Manchester United but I think that makes them look more comfortable," said David Moyes in post-match interview.
