Australian racer Oscar Piastri secured a win at the Azerbaijan GP as he finished ahead of Ferrari’s Charles leclerc and Mercedes' George Russell, propelling McLaren to the top of the constructors' standings. Defending champion Max Verstappen continued to face difficulties, as he ended the race in fifth place.
On the penultimate lap of the Azerbaijan GP race, a dramatic collision between Red Bull’s Sergio Perez and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz handed George Russell third place. Meanwhile, Lando Norris fought his way from 15th on the grid to secure a fourth-place finish, ahead of Verstappen.
