The English Premier League return this week after a couple of weeks of international football. Players are back to their respective clubs. Arsenal vs Liverpool is the main event, of sorts this week. Leicester City vs Manchester City is also another game that will attract a lot of eye-balls.
Arsenal vs Liverpool: Let’s first talk about the Arsenal vs Liverpool game. If Arsenal lose today, then the road for Europa League qualification would become extremely difficult for them and if Liverpool loses, then Champions League qualification would become a difficult task via domestic route. Still, Klopp will have a better chance as Bukayo Saka, Emile Smith Rowe and William are doubtful for the Saturday’s game.
Leicester City vs Manchester City: It will be a good game in the scheme of things. Man City have a Champions League game on Tuesday against Dortmund also. The onus to win the match lies more on Leicester City as they are in direct competition with Manchester United for the second spot. So, a loss here would hurt Leicester more than Manchester City. Kelechi Iheanacho and Jamie Vardy are the top performers for Leicester.
