New Delhi: The first Test of the three-match Test series between England and New Zealand is currently being played at Lord's cricket stadium. Seamers of both teams emerged as stars on the opening day of the 1st Test which saw a dramatic collapse. The pacers of both England and New Zealand wreaked havoc at Lord's spicy track 17 wickets fell on Day 1.
Almost every batter that batted on Day 1 of Eng vs NZ 1st Test was finding it almost impossible to remain steady and get comfortable enough against the bowlers at Lords'. However, Trent Boult's antics on the field managed to caught everyone's attention. The Kiwi pacer, while batting, hilariously copied Aussie star batter Steven Smith's famous 'no run' call. The video of Boult's impression of the Australian batting legend went viral on social media.

Talking about the match, batting first, New Zealand had scored 132 runs. In reply, Ben Stokes-led England could only manage 141 runs in 42.5 overs. Seven England batsmen could not even score in double-figure. England took a lead of 9 runs when they got all out in their 1st innings. Trent Boult took three wickets for New Zealand while Tim Southee picked four wickets.
England started day 2 with 116/7 and could only add 25 runs to their day 1's total. England was once in a good position when they started their innings as they were 92/2 during the match but then their innings collapsed as they added just eight runs for loss of five wickets. From being 92/2, they were pushed back to 100/7 before being finally bowled out for 141-run total.
At Tea on Day 2, New Zealand have managed to take 119 run lead. Daryl Mitchell (43) and Tom Blundell (39) remain unbeaten on crease.
