Birmingham Games 2022: It was the biggest medal haul for India at the Commonwealth Games 2022 on Day 10 as 15 medals were earned to boost India's position. India now has 18 Gold, 15 Silver and 22 Bronze medals to take its tally to 55 medals so far and a few more are expected as action will resume in Birmingham on the last day of CWG 2022.
India is assured of at least five more medals, the colour of the medals is yet to be decided. After a significant medal rush from the wrestling and weightlifting contingent, on the last day of the quadrennial event, Indian shuttlers have a chance to end the quadrennial games on a high.
PV Sindhu will feature in the gold medal match of the women's singles event where she will take on Michelle Li of Canada. Lakshya Sen will be taking on Tze Yong Ng of Malaysia in the men's singles final match. While the pair of Satwik Sairaj and Chirag Shetty will be aiming for gold as they will play in the final match of the men's double event.
Indian men's hockey team will also try to earn the CWG Gold medal as they will play Australia in the finals.
Ace paddler Achanta Sharath Kamal will be playing in the gold medal match while his compatriot G Sathiyan will feature in the bronze medal match of the men's singles table tennis event.
