New Delhi: Portuguese star, Cristiano Ronaldo, signed for his old club Manchester United last week. This move shook the transfer market as it happened in just three hours. No agent talk, no media talk, just a straight transfer.
For Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo has been given the iconic number 7 shirt. Fans were speculating whether Cristiano would wear the No. 7 jersey at United or not as Edinson Cavani wore it in the match against Wolves.
Man United shared this news on their website. The statement from Man U read, "The Portuguese superstar famously wore the legendary shirt number during his first spell with the club and we can confirm that Cristiano will have it on his back once again."

Ronaldo Thanks Edinson Cavani
"I wasn't sure if it would be possible to have the number seven shirt again. So I would like to say a huge thank you to Edi for this incredible gesture," said Ronaldo after receiving the number seven shirt.
Edinson Cavani, meanwhile, was given the number 21 shirt that belonged to Daniel James who moved to Leeds last week.
