It is a known fact that competition for a place in the Indian senior men's cricket team is very tough. It can also mean being the highest wicket-taker for India in a format and yet not being able to find a place in the side. This is exactly what is happening with Yuzvendra Chahal who happens to be the team's leading wicket-taker with 96 wickets but was yet again overlooked for a place in the India squad for the five-match home T20I series against Australia.
Chahal did not lose heart and while he first put out a cryptic smile emoji on social media after his name was missing in the India squad announced, he returned with impressive figures of 6/26 while playing for Haryana against Uttarakhand in the Vijay Hazare Trophy on Thursday (November 23). After his brilliant performance which set up the team's six-wicket win, he came up yet another post in which he seems to be determined to make an India comeback.
"To hold it together when everyone else thinks otherwise, that's the true strength of a warrior," said a quote in the post which was captioned: "See you at work."
Meanwhile, his wife Dhanashree also reacted to the post with fire emojis.

India Off To Winning Start In Five-Match T20I Series
Meanwhile, India are off to a winning start in the five-match T20I series at the Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy ACA-VDCA Cricket Stadium in Visakhapatnam. They elected to bowl first and even though Australia posted 208/3 riding on a stupendeous hundred from Josh Inglis, India pulled off their highest-successful run chase in a T20I with the help of half-centuries from Suryakumar Yadav (80 off 42) and Ishan Kishan (58 off 39).
