Pant has earned a reputation of a pinch-hitting batsman who is not afraid of taking risks. In the absence of important players in the Australia Test series, Rishabh Pant played a major role in taking India to a famous 2-1 Test series win in and against Australia.

Recently, Pakistan batsman Babar Azam was overtaken by Rishabh Pant in the ICC Test Batsman Rankings. Babar Azam plummeted three places while Rohit and Pant gained one place. Both Rohit and Pant had a good Test series against England. Rohit scored 345 runs in seven innings while Rishabh Pant scored 270 runs in six innings.

Delhi Capitals captain, Rishabh Pant also requested everyone to take precautions and also donate their plasma to people in need. “In the last few months, the number of Covid cases in India has gone up. I request everyone to not take this lightly and strictly follow the guidelines issued by the government and experts. It is important that you verify any information related to Covid relief and only then share it further. If you have recovered from Covid, please go and donate your plasma. As responsible citizens, it is our duty to help everyone around us. Stay safe, stay home”, said the skipper.
